Marketing Daily ran this article earlier this morning. From Recession To Recovery, Re-Invention

It documents the theme from this year’s Idea Conference. The article points out that the idea of re-invention is not entirely foreign to marketers. Products and services get reformulated all the time. The uniqueness of the presenters at the Idea Conference was in the “how” of their re-invention. The article goes on to list four of those companies and a brief synopsis of what they did in the process of re-invention.

It closes with four lessons that should serve brands and marketers well as they move into 2010. They’re good ones. You might want to pay particular attention to the last one. :-)
