Darren Rowse and the folks at TwiTip have a post up this morning talking about 7 Uncommon Uses for Twitter. While we all use Twitter for a variety of reasons, these are 7 that you might not have thought about.
The first one is definitely something you want to look at. The TwiTip has done a good job of explaining why.
The second and third ones I’ve seen a little bit of but I can see where those will grow and expand.
The fourth one seems like a great use to me. Good beta testers are really hard to find,especially with today’s time constraints.
The fifth one seems to be gaining momentum with all of the buzz around the “real time web”.
The sixth one I’ve seen a little bit of as well, but with all of the people now on Twitter, what a great resource for problem solving.
The seventh one I’ve seen some of as well and they seem to have been met with a great deal of enthusiasm. My friends at Step Ahead Inc. used Twitter to run a contest for one of their Myrtle Beach clients and it was quite successful.
